Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Cypress, California (On-Site)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our client. This role will start on a 1st shift schedule for the first six months before transitioning to 2nd shift. You will be responsible for conducting final inspection, in-process inspection, incoming raw material inspection, and testing of various parts and assemblies. The role also involves audits, document control, data entry, and other administrative tasks. Preferred but not required to have experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and X-ray inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct final inspections of products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform in-process sampling inspections in accordance with established quality requirements.
  • Evaluate parts or assemblies with quality concerns and determine their status.
  • Conduct sample inspections at key assembly points, packaging, and labeling stages.
  • Approve conforming parts or issue non-conformance reports for rejected parts as per inspection and testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and supervisors on resolving non-conforming parts and assemblies.
  • Perform functional testing on finished goods using technical equipment and machines.
  • Complete product and process audits, and assist with document control and administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience using CMM or X-ray inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and inspection processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Work Schedule:
  • 1st shift for the first six months, then transition to 2nd shift.
