Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study or 1 - 3 years of web development experience required

Job Description:
This client is looking for a UI Engineer to join their team in Katy, Tx. This person will be responsible for developing pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web while maintaining a strong focus on performance, developing customer-facing experiences using the latest coding best practices, and integrating and deploying experiences through CMS or personalization tools. Day to day responsibilities include identifying, tracking, and communicating risks for design and technical implementations, working with designers and developers to ensure guidelines adhere to Academy standards, and cross-functional teams to understand and assist in defining and sizing epics, stories, tasks, and sub-task for team delegation. Additionally, they will leverage data and insights for consistent improvement in the customer experience, performance, design, and engineering efficiencies, and utilize personalization tools to improve customer experience journey. This person will report onsite to their Katy, Tx. location 5 days/week (Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:30 and 8-12 Fri). The pay range is dependent upon experience and will be between $35/35/hour.
