Role: Network Engineer III
Location: Englewood, CO
Onsite Requirements: 4-5 days per week
Type of position: Long term contract with possibility to extend or convert full time
You will be a good fit if you have experience with the following:
Troubleshooting DOCSIS, EPON or CPE
OLT = Network Router/Switch- Need to know the Routing, Fiber, Optical Networks.

Optical Networks
CCNA level Route/Switch
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, preferably with a cable Multiple System Operator (MSO) or Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Experience in CPE Testing is strongly desired.
Candidates must have a good understanding of DOCSIS, PacketCable and provisioning
Experience with automation, databases, scripting, and system administration is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate must be a team player, with an inherent ability to work well under tight timelines, and have strong problem solving capabilities.
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols
Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
Knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
Ability to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
