Job Description:

Role: QA Automation Lead

Location: Atlanta, GA

Term: Long Term Contract

• Develop Testing environment for Automation test , including process, tools and alignment with Development goals.
• Develop Test Automation strategy, including Framework, tools, and integration with the agile framework.
• Integrate testing process with the current agile processes.
• Work with the development teams to develop product test plans.
• Communicate with the Product Owner and Engineering to provide times which will be required for software testing.
• Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.

Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.

Key Skills

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript (or TypeScript).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Testing Skills:
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
• Leadership Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience:
• Several years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Previous experience as a QA lead or in a similar leadership role.
