Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with a focus on the Appian platform. The Appian Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing business process management (BPM) applications that meet our company's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement business process applications using Appian BPM software.
Translate business requirements into functional applications and processes.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Provide technical guidance in BPM strategy and Appian best practices.
Integrate Appian applications with external systems and databases.
Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot software issues to ensure application quality.
Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications as needed.
Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development.
Stay up-to-date with new Appian features and functionalities, applying them to the development process where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Appian Certified Developer credential is highly preferred.
Proven experience as an Appian Developer with a deep understanding of Appian architecture and framework.
Knowledge of BPM standards and best practices.
Experience with SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer), Appian Records, and Appian Tempo.
Ability to model and optimize business processes using Appian process modeler.
Proficiency in software development with Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
