Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with a focus on the Appian platform. The Appian Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing business process management (BPM) applications that meet our company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement business process applications using Appian BPM software.
  • Translate business requirements into functional applications and processes.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Provide technical guidance in BPM strategy and Appian best practices.
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems and databases.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot software issues to ensure application quality.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Appian applications as needed.
  • Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Appian features and functionalities, applying them to the development process where applicable.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Appian Certified Developer credential is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Appian Developer with a deep understanding of Appian architecture and framework.
  • Knowledge of BPM standards and best practices.
  • Experience with SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer), Appian Records, and Appian Tempo.
  • Ability to model and optimize business processes using Appian process modeler.
  • Proficiency in software development with Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
