Summary Description:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager to lead our manufacturing quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management:
  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes to ensure that all products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze product quality data, identify trends, and develop action plans to address quality issues.
  • Oversee the investigation of quality complaints and non-conformance issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and certifications (such as ISO 9001).

Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement techniques for manufacturing teams.
  • Drive projects that improve production efficiency reduce costs and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance and continuous improvement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the manufacturing organization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge in quality management and process improvement.

Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on quality metrics, continuous improvement initiatives, and project outcomes to senior management.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality processes, procedures, and improvement projects.

Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes and quality control activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, ERP systems).
