Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Automate complex software builds using Python.

- Manage software release builds and testing via JIRA.

- Continuously adapt to evolving release requirements.

- Thrive in a dynamic environment, fostering collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Intermediary Role:

- Serve as the communication link with global stakeholders regarding the release process.

- Facilitate information exchange and updates to Firmware Engineers and management within the local time zone.

Release Process Expertise:

- Navigate the intricacies of legacy and current product families, including OEMs, and manage deviations and changes.

Problem-Solving:

- Identify and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays in release request turnaround times.

- Ensure timely and accurate production of release outputs.

Release Automation Testing:

- Evaluate Release Automation, identifying and addressing discrepancies.

- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the release process, coding, and both hardware and software.

Release Request Management:

- Generate and oversee release requests, ensuring the CDR release request form is correctly completed for reproducibility.

- Train personnel in making informed release requests.

Qualities:

- Collaborative team player committed to problem-solving and task completion.

- Exhibits sound judgment.

- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to customer quality.

- Eager and quick to learn, enhancing existing processes through quality assurance, teamwork, and proactive communication.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Python, and shell scripting (bash/windows).

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Experienced in both Linux and Windows OS
