As a PLC Programmer, you will specialize in programming, implementing, and maintaining control systems in a market supplying 40.9 billion dollars of automated packaging machinery worldwide to consumer-packaged goods needing to package their products as they come off their production line(s). We are looking for someone who has strong PLC programming and electrical skills to implement various industrial automation technologies into stand alone and multiple machine systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable and adept PLC Programmer who is eager to break down technical problems and work hands on solve them systematically.
Key Responsibilities
Write, test and debug code for Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs (primarily compact logix) to integrate other components and program control systems
Conduct through testing on control systems to ensure functionality, reliability and safety
Diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues, including hardware malfunctions, software bugs, and communication errors
Help with building and wiring of machine electrical boards
Work hands on with electrical and testing departments through different stages of the machine build process
Qualifications
Proven experience working with Allen-Bradley products and design software
Hands on experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, servos, HMIs, pneumatics
Previous experience with Fanuc or other industrial robots is a plus
