Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this IT Support and Technology Coordinator position. This position is a contract to direct hire opportunity (with a potential to begin Full-Time/direct from day one) and will be on-site in Apopka, FL. This position is expected to roll into a direct position with client, in a period of 6 months or less.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase, set up, and configure computers, phones, iPads, and other technological equipment.
Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot technical issues.
Train new employees on the use of Microsoft software, Sage Contractor 100, B2W, and other relevant technologies and software.
Assist with other company activities such as project management, estimating, procurement, logistics, safety, and more, as required.
Document IT procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT support or a related field, even if not holding a formal IT degree.
Hands-on experience with a variety of technology tools and systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft software; experience with Sage Contractor 100 and B2W is a major plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support staff.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to different aspects of the business.
