We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and practical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Desktop, Dell hardware, VMware, and various other technologies. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.
Role and Responsibilities:
Administer and support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, including user management, permissions, and group policies.
Manage and maintain Windows Server and Desktop systems, ensuring their stability, security, and performance.
Oversee and troubleshoot Dell Server and Desktop hardware, including installation, configuration, and repairs.
Utilize VMware vSphere and ESXi for virtualization management, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization of virtual environments.
Administer Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft IIS, ensuring database and web server functionality and performance.
Perform network cabling installation and maintenance to ensure reliable connectivity and network performance.
Provide end-user desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Configure and manage Cisco and Netgear Ethernet switches, ensuring network connectivity and performance.
Manage and support Cisco Meraki MX firewalls for secure network operations.
Administer Citrix NetScaler and XenApp Server environments as needed.
Support Zebra printers and RFID hardware for operational needs.
Assist with IT support in retail environments, understanding and addressing specific challenges and requirements.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience
Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Windows Server and Desktop
Dell Server and Desktop hardware
VMware vSphere and ESXi
Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft IIS
Network cabling installation
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
