Position: A/V Engineer
Location: 100% onsite in Salisbury, NC - Mon-Friday with occasional Fridays remote
Duration: 6+ months contract, likely to extend
Pay Rate Range: $60/hr W2
Requirements:
5+ years as an AV Engineer setting up AV Equipment
Experience standing up a MS Teams room and resolving AV/Teams issues as needed
Personality- team player
AV Programming experiences specifically with Q-SYS/Crestron
Team Lead/PM experience (Organization experience, task oriented, focused)
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This person will be responsible for setting up MS Teams conference rooms for groups. They will also need to set onsite AV environments for in person meetings and well as resolve AV/Teams issues as needed. Its also important that this person is a team player and is willing to jump in as needed to resolve issues.
The Microsoft Teams Room/AV Engineer will provide expertise in the technical support, setup and installation of Microsoft Teams Rooms technology and AV equipment for the Salisbury Corporate Offices. They are expected to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment leveraging forward-thinking technical engineering expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms systems and AV technology in support of our brands and executive leadership.
Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
