Vaileron is currently looking to hire a Software Engineer (Level 1) on a full time, permanent basis. This opportunity must be performed onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD (government site) and requires an active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. Salary Range: $115k - $165k dependent upon experience
Job Overview:
As a Software Engineer, you will work with a product team to analyze cloud-based applications. Develop system documentation for how cloud-based applications work. Develop modifications to add new functionality to existing cloud-based applications.
Qualifications:
Seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Experience with Rust and Python.
Experience with open-source products that support highly distributed, massively parallel provisioning, computation, and data storage.
Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, OpenStack, Ceph, Salt, and/or Terraform.
Experience with data serialization formats such as JSON and Parquet.
