OpenText Exstream Developer
Position Summary: The Exstream Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining document composition applications using OpenText Exstream.
This role requires a deep understanding of Exstream capabilities and the ability to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • ?Design, develop, and maintain document composition applications using OpenText Exstream. • ?Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. • ?Create and modify Exstream templates, workflows, and scripts to support business needs. • ?Optimize Exstream applications for performance and scalability. • ?Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document generation and output management. • ?Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures in all development activities. • ?Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members. • ?Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in OpenText Exstream and other relevant technologies. • ?Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and security of developed solutions. • ?Document development processes, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications: • ?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • ?Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with OpenText Exstream (formerly known as Client Exstream). • ?Proficient in UNIX or Shell scripting • ?Strong knowledge of document composition concepts and practices. • ?Proficient in Exstream Design Manager, Live Editor, and other related components. • ?Experience with Exstream scripting and template design. • ?Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes. • ?Understanding of XML, XSLT, and related technologies. • ?Experience with version control systems such as Git. • ?Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. • ?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • ?Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • ?Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: • ?Experience with other customer communication management (CCM) platforms. • ?Knowledge of SQL and database management. • ?Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • ?Certification in OpenText Exstream or related technologies.
