Overview:

Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of the largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Epic Tapestry Certified Consultant.

*** Location: Remote (Los Angeles, CA 90095)

****Duration: 12+ months contract

Schedule: Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • The Application Analyst performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing software applications.
  • They design, build, test, and support new applications and modules within their portfolio and/or service line.
  • The Analyst must achieve in-depth knowledge of the software application and operational workflows, as well as understand the policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operation supported by the application.
  • The Analyst works with business owners, vendors, and other team members to evaluate and recommend solutions to complex problems and requests.
  • Applications Supported: Tapestry, Tapestry Premium Billing, and Benefits Engine.

Required Experience: please do not submit anyone without the below experience.
  • Epic Tapestry certified.
  • Build experience in Epic Tapestry required.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience required
  • Utilization management
  • Three years of experience in a healthcare-related organization.
  • Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas. Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
  • Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision-making.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a knack for probing for information, to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be configured/ organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels.
  • Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation.
