CDW has a long term career opportunity available in Reno, NV. For this position, we seek a background in network infrastructure, including routing, switching, telephony and video and the accompanying hardware and software.
A minimum of six years of recent professional experience in network administration and network security protocols, encompassing both hardware and software.
Proven expertise in designing network infrastructures, including telephony and video systems.
Proficiency in configuring Cisco routers and switches.
Familiarity with at least one of the following firewalls: Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Fortigate, along with knowledge of IDS/IPS and Syslog.
Preference for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Demonstrated capability in managing and supporting VPNs.
Experience working with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), and Quality of Service (QoS).
Proficient in configuring wireless networks.
Hands-on experience in setting up and troubleshooting Windows Server and Active Directory.
