Apprentice Heavy Equipment Operators at IUOE Local 158 in Macedon, New York

Job Description:

IUOE Local 158 Training Fund/District 832 will be recruiting two (2) apprentice heavy equipment operators. 

To be accepted for this training opportunity, applicants must:

1. Reside in one of the counties of Allegany, Livingston, Monroe, Chemung, Ontario, Schuyler, Steuben, Wayne or Yates County, eastern part of Genesee County, including City of Batavia
2. Have obtained a high school diploma or GED
3. Be at least 18 years of age
4. Have a valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
5. Able to pass a substance test
6. Must have at least one year of trade-related experience OR must have successfully completed a construction related pre-apprenticeship OR must have successfully completed a construction related training program

Application packets will be limited to twenty-five (25).  Applications will be available starting Monday, October 21, 2024, from 9:00 am – 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm for 10 business days or until 25 applications have been submitted, whichever comes first.
