Lead Data Engineer - IT Service Management Domain

Location and Workplace Flexibility:



We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture and all of our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.



Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Data Governance framework in coordination with key stakeholders
  
  


• Support mapping and design of process flows across functions and key users to support objectives
  
  


• Participate in the development of data strategies, implementation roadmaps and business cases
  
  


• Develop, deploy and monitor policies and processes established for managing data within sources systems, automated and manual processes.
  
  


• Promote Lean mindset as it pertains to the Domain operational effectiveness and opportunities to continuously improve the process across Zelis
  
  


• Facilitate engagement with teams and leaders to train and educate the use and adoption of data management
  
  


• Improve trust in IT Service Management Critical Data elements by defining and improving data quality
  
  

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in service management, discovery, data management and/or data governance
  
  


• Experience creating, standing up or maintaining a data governance program
  
  


• Technology experience in service management, data management and data quality technologies
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
  
  


• IT Service Management domain tools such as Atlassian (Jira) and Axonius
  
  


• Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment
  
  


• Passionate about driving transformational change
  
  


• Demonstrated lean / continuous improvement experience and mindset
  
  


• Key understanding of the importance of change management in the implementation of data and information management strategies
  
  


• History of working across multiple functions and with global resources
  
  

Position is 100% remote but may need to go into one of the following offices occasionally:
