Process Technicians at Kforce Inc in Fremont, California

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a Semiconductor client in Fremont, CA that is looking for a Process Technician.

Day-to-day:

• The team is mostly working in the lab (60% - 70% of time is in lab; 30-40% is analyzing)


• Looking to free up the Process Engineers, so techs will begin with passdowns from Engineers


• Day starts with metrology on wafers or preparing FOUP; Following passdown from Process Engineers


• Another task is once metrology is finished, be trained on how to extract data and update run sheet; Have software codes for updating


• Majority of day is either wafer preparation or start up and updating sheets


• With more experience, may be able to start minor error recoveries if there is an error of tool


• Need some understanding of errors and who to get help from if something goes wrong


• Initially will be more hands-on training

REQUIREMENTS:

• No degree requirements but prefer 2 years of experience in semiconductor fab or other similar lab


• Basic Microsoft Office


• Experience with metrology tools (process tools are very different - don't expect to have experience on what we have)


• Ability to learn quickly (any examples of how they picked up skills in past


• Wafers handling


• Clear pass downs - what is done and not


• Interest in semiconductor technology and manufacturing equipment desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
