Starting Rate: Band 9 - $84,800 - $98,600

Position Summary:



Providestechnical leadership and guidance to the Enterprise Systems team. Oversees thedesign and implementation of complex system solutions. Owns technicalconfiguration and lifecycle management of all technical components related toour extended ERP Environment (Banner ERP on an Oracle database, with numerous"Bolt-on" applications and interfaces). Will act as primary contact and liaisonwith our Infrastructure Support team and coordinate security requirements andconcerns with the Security group. Ensure all technical designs are properlydocumented and maintained.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manages the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of all technical components the environment.

  • Participates in projects and potential projects to provide technical expertise, guidance, and advice regarding technical and infrastructure requirements / impacts. Building / providing appropriate documentation as needed.

  • Represents Enterprise Systems and its interest in key teams and committees [including but not limited to Architectural Review Board (ARB), Technical Review Board (TRB), and Change Control Board (CCB)].

  • Participates in the Enterprise Systems management team, providing strategic and tactical guidance and leadership.

  • Ensures all documentation relevant to our environment and technical components are properly maintained, accurate, and up to date.

  • Oversee and manage the Enterprise System portion of the Change Management processes.

  • Ensures team stays knowledgeable regarding emerging technologies. Provide leadership, guidance, and advice regarding potential adoption of new technologies. Help plan and lead the planning and execution of new technologies.

  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.




Job Requirements:



  • Vocational or technical training/Certification in Information Technology or a closely related field of study and

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and

  • Three to five years of related experience and

  • One to three years of supervisory experience


or



  • An equivalent combination of certification, education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.


Preferred:



  • Five plus years of related experience

  • Knowledge of computer and network operating systems (Windows and Linux)

  • Skill in current and applicable IT components related to a Banner ERP environment

  • Skill in current and applicable hardware, software, and peripheral equipment


  • Skill in problem solving


  • Skill in participating in and leading cross-functional teams


  • Skill in effective communication (both written and oral)


  • Skill in project management principles, processes, and techniques


  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technical environment
