Accounts Payable Specialist




Boston, MA - Back Bay ONSITE




$25-28/hour



Our Family- Owned and Operated business services client headquartered in Boston's Back Bay is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join their team. This role will report to Billing Manager.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required

  • 3+ years Full Cycle Accounts Payable experience including month end close, account reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger coding, accounts payable accruals

  • MS Office, Advanced Excel, JD Edwards required

  • Experience in high volume business services, facilities or related industry required.

  • 3 Way purchase order matching, vendor management, processing invoices, reviewing company credit card transaction reports, Pcard transactions and expense reporting.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Process large volumes of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Code invoices to the appropriate accounts in the chart of accounts and allocate expenses to the correct cost center.

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices have been received.

  • Manage inquiries from vendors and employees, and research discrepancies as needed.

  • Review and process expense reports.

  • Audit and export approved PCard reports in Tallie.

  • Assist with meeting month-end closing deadlines.

  • Assist with year-end 1099 preparation.
