This position is responsible for delivery and pick up of various items while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.


Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.


Starting wage - $17.50/hour


Plus, additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends

Position Reports to: Farm Transportation Sr Manager Location: Delmarva



Essential Function:



• Drives truck over designated route to pick-up hatching eggs from local farms to local hatchery


• Maintains egg inventory record, records egg deliveries


• Showers into uniforms at each collection site if needed, Cleans and disinfects equipment


• Attends and actively participates in driver safety meetings


• Completes required vehicle reports and Ryder inspection forms.



Minimum Requirements:



Valid Driver's License, 1 year verifiable Driving experience with clean safety record in similar equipment. Candidate must be able to pass a DOT/CDL physical examination




Education/Experience: Must be able to communicate in oral, written and comprehensive form. Production/Receiving reports must be completed accurately and handwritten legibly.



Minimum Physical Requirements: Must use safe lifting techniques, Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.



Physical Demands and Work Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to corn and soy dust. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Safety Training: Will be trained to recognize and comply with all Core Safety Mandate procedures including: lock out , tag out procedures, confined space, fall prevention
