Job Details:



This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.




  • Keep breader/predust and batter machines at proper ingredients usage level. Keep work area clean.

  • Help set-up line at the start of the shift

  • Assist with clean-up and sanitation of the line following USDA/TYSON guidelines.

  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • All qualified applicants' safety will be reviewed.

  • Must be able to follow safe work practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required.

  • Must be able to follow all sanitary procedures and policies.




Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturday work, 2:00 PM - Production end



Starting pay rate: $17.30/hr



Requirements:



  • Must complete an on-line job application in Workday

  • Must be a full-time team member and have completed the 90-day probationary period. If there no qualified candidates, probationary team members will be considered.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs when needed.

  • Must not have a written warning/written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.

  • Must not have a self-demotion or declined a job bid in the last six (6) months, unless the bid is to a higher class.

  • Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.

  • Successful bidders will not be allowed to bid for (6) months unless the bid is for a higher classification rating.

  • Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.

This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
