ABOUT THE JOB



Marathon Health is seeking a strategic and technical marketing leader to advance our digital patient engagement efforts. The Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy & Automation will have a hands-on role creating new patient journeys and implementing multi-channel campaign strategies while focusing on attribution reporting to continually refine our digital marketing strategy.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manages and coordinates email and SMS marketing requests and tasks through an associated intake system and delegates and assists in creating and sending out campaigns.

  • Leads email campaign design and development in coordination with other teams in the organization

  • Works to identify and develop audiences for campaigns and automated journeys

  • Develops strategies for new automated, multi-channel journeys and helps design and deploy them.

  • Coordinates and delivers multi-touchpoint custom campaigns for our clients using email and SMS best practices.

  • Owns the process and adoption of email marketing tools -throughout the organization

  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to develop and document scalable email and SMS processes and systems

  • Maintains QA process to ensure all communications are brand compliant.

  • Designs robust A/B test processes and reporting to consistently improve our communications

  • Identifies enhancements needed to decrease opt-out rate and increase email performance.

  • Stays up to date and knowledgeable on email and SMS trends and best practices as well as new feature releases for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Assists the Director of Digital Engagement Marketing in advancing the organization's marketing attribution capabilities through UTM parameters, tracking codes, and the development of multi-channel reporting packages.

  • Updates and manages client web pages and redirects




QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in email marketing and a minimum of 1 year experience in SMS marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hands-on technical experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using AMP script and SQL is required. Experience designing, developing, and releasing multi-channel journeys through Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder is required.



DESIRED ATTRIBUTES



  • Looking for a self-starter who can juggle numerous campaigns at once and keep projects moving quickly

  • Experience creating and managing highly personalized, data-driven email and SMS content highly preferred

  • Experience creating target audiences via SQL and filtered Data Extensions from multiple related datasets.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of responsive design, HTML, CSS, Excel and Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of Stensul preferred

  • Experience creating assets for email in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator.

  • Experience with campaign setup, audience segmentation using "and/or" statement clauses, email deployment, HTML editing, delivery monitoring and reporting.

  • Experience updating webpages via CMS

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively QA campaigns before deployment

  • Ability to think creatively and initiate innovative solutions to challenges

  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations and how they impact the digital marketing landscape




Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000/yr



The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.
