We are seeking a Project Manager for our customer, County Prestress & Precast, LLC in Salem, IL.

Essential Functions
Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects, or services.Consults with clients to determine requirements of structure, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and construction time.Obtain pricing for materials.Obtain bids from subcontractors.Preparation of detailed quantity takeoffsMaintains complete and accurate estimating files and bid log as directed by the company.Represents County Prestress in obtaining bids and awarding construction subcontracts.Building relationships, showing leadership and collaborationRecommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.Directs team members (employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.Directs and supervises activities of engineers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.Reviews progress of drawings and prepares feedback to clients regarding schedule of projects.Reviews design details for constructability, safety, and conformance to project requirements.Plans schedule of projects and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.Controls any number of projects at various stages of work.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 50+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.

Travel
The employee may travel extensively when the construction site is not close to the main office or when responsible for activities at two or more sites. Valid drivers license and a good driving record required.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in architecture or construction science/construction management.3+ years in construction industry estimating or project management
