Job Description:
As an Experience Designer, you will play a critical role in our design team by focusing on translating feature-level design work into detailed development specifications. You will leverage design systems and best practice UI patterns to ensure consistency, usability, accessibility, and quality across our digital products. You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, scrum masters, and accessibility analysts to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers, product owners and scrum masters to understand feature requirements and delivery timelines and expectations.
- Translate high-level design concepts into detailed development specifications, including documentation, edge cases and empty/error states.
- Utilize thoughtful layers, assets, design systems and UI patterns to create consistent and scalable design solutions.
- Ensure all design work aligns with best practices for usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design practices.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, interaction design, or a related field.
- Expert in Figma with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
