Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support the P-8I Neptune located at Indian Naval Station Hansa located in Dabolim in the Indian state of Goa . The selected candidate will remain a U.S. Expat reporting to a U.S. Manager and be seconded to Boeing Defense India after hiring, working with local Boeing India Management.
This is a Long-Term Assignment to India for up to 3 years after initial familiarization training and visa processing. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
Assisting with fault isolation, repair assistance and O-Level maintenance of P-8I aircraft systems, mission system equipment, airframe, and engines.
Must be capable of interpreting technical documents and possess the ability to respond to operational issues in addition to being knowledgeable in the maintenance of both aircraft and mission systems.
Conduct on-the-job and informal training for locally hired employees is also included in the position responsibilities.
Expected to be available during normal base working hours and also during off-hours to address emergency / Aircraft of Ground (AOG) situations.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Indian Naval Station Hansa.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on flight line maintenance experience, directly supporting the P-8 or 737NG.
A current/active United States Passport.
At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

Currently hold or have held an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
Prior experience as an FSR supporting an aircraft weapon system.
Hands-on aircraft experience with the P-3 or P-8 aircraft operations or sustainment.
P-8 mission systems and operations expertise.
Understanding of aircraft maintenance and parts manuals & engineering drawings, especially wiring diagrams.
Experience troubleshooting electrical and avionics problems/issues.
Quality Assurance experience in an aircraft maintenance or production environment.
Experience working with the US Navy.
Experience working with the Indian Navy.
Experience establishing a new operating base or site while working in austere conditions.
Ability to work independently without direct oversight.
