What we do: 

The Technology Risk and Compliance (TRC) team is Oversight and Business Operations (OBO) function within the Chief Operating Office (COO) of the Technology Group (TG).TRC is part of the first line of defense for the Bank and is responsible for supporting the Technology Group in managing technology risks for the Bank. The role will work with a dynamic team environment and play an important role in supporting the Federal Reserve carry out its responsibilities. The Technology Business Risk and Control Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 5 – 7 team members as well as performing first line risk management activities such as but not limited to risk identification, risk assessment, issue management, and metrics reporting. The TRC team works closely with team members within the Technology Group, other first line risk functions, Information Security, National IT, and the Risk Group.

Your role as Technology Business Risk and Control Manager:


  • Lead a team of 5 – 7 team members that are the first line of defense in supporting Technology Risk Management for the Bank.

  • Work with business stakeholders and executives to identify opportunities in support of their tactical and strategic objectives. 

  • Exhibit and manage a culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement through servant leadership. 

  • Provide program leadership with a variety of written communications including status reports on projects and objectives, presentations, and detailed analysis of test issues and solutions.

  • Perform complex analysis of technology risk issues and advise business partners on relevant risks and mitigations.

  • Collaborate and influence work multi-functionally; navigate ambiguity while leading multiple projects simultaneously in a results-driven environment, accepting accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.

  • Able to explain complex IT and data related issues to non-expert, non-IT staff and management in a manner that allows clear comprehension of the risk implications.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborations skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and partners with others in pursuit of common goals.

Salary Range: $155400 - $267300 / year
