Email and Website Specialist at Exxel Outdoors in Pasadena, California

The email and Website Specialist is responsible for the management of email marketing, and website maintenance, for each brand within the Exxel Outdoors umbrella. The email and Website specialist will work in our fast- paced environment to plan and execute website emails, site functionality, performance and enhancements. This position manages the landing pages for each of the websites and is hands-on within the platforms.

• Handles the email marketing campaigns for each website. Producing on average 1-3 emails per site per week as well as email flows.
• Featuring new products on each of the websites for each brand when new products arrive.
• Utilizes the content management system (Salsify) in data pushes for the websites.
• Develops and maintains the promos for each brand on the websites ensuring creative updates of the graphics on our e-Commerce platforms.
• Owns creating enhancements regarding the functionality of the websites with new development, products, or (re)designs in conjunction with the creative and/or development team.
• Manages the quality of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on each of the websites and salsify to improve our month over month metrics.
• Establishes and manages the landing pages for each of the brands for specific initiatives as well as coupon codes.
• Develops and manages the communication between our websites and pro deal websites.
• Handles and nurtures relevant vendor relationships.
• Owns the website maintenance and updates.
• Works closely with the product team and creative in building Product pages, chasing content, banner ads and owning the project plan on website execution.
• Runs and communicates the results from the websites analytics for all the brand websites within coupon codes, ACV, Visitors to the website(s), conversions, email results as well as existing KPI trackers, on a regular basis.
• Manages projects from the start to finish with little to no oversight.
• Ability to diagnose and fix any issues that arise in our eCommerce platform with minimal coding experience.
• Ensures the connection between the websites and BigCommerce/Shopify is connected and running smoothly.

• BS or BA degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing or equivalent education and experience.
• Previous experience in Klaviyo, Attentive, BigCommerce/Shopify, Google Analytics, and Trello are a plus.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills – ability to thrive in a team environment
• Effective Communication: Speaks to both technical and nontechnical audiences with ease.

• Initiative – ability to work and achieve objectives independently
• Able to manage multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
• Strong Problem Solving and Process Improvement Skills and evaluative: Understands complex business issues and how to solve them through technology.
• Experience in working with complex business solutions in the outdoor industry specifically relating to multiple offices, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with the Executive Management of an organization.
• Strong organizational skills.
