APG Mechanic




Greenville, SC




Contract Position



Our Support in Greenville, South Carolina site is the home of the F-16 Fighting Falcon production line and provides nose-to-tail aircraft modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both military and civil aircraft. For more than 35 years, the site has provided world-class and affordable sustainment services to thousands of aircraft, such as the C-130, P-3, KC-10, and C-9.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with all aircraft launch, recovery, inspections (preflight, thru flight, and post-flight), maintenance, engine runs, and servicing.


• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components.


• Ensure the operational readiness of electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, and other critical systems.


• Remove panels and hardware to access and repair equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience: Minimum 4 years of F-16 or other legacy fighter aircraft heavy maintenance experience.


• 
  Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work first or second shift.


• Strong experience with F-16 or similar fighter aircraft maintenance, including roles such as Crew Chief or Plane Captain.


• Military fighter aircraft maintenance experience (F-16 experience is required).


• No tools required; all necessary tools will be provided.
