The ideal candidate will have proven experience with project management and will be read to take on the needs of a growing company. The position is based out of our Bend office.

Qualifications* you will bring to the table:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited four-year University
• 6-10+ years of job-related experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain by comity) in the state of the hiring Cushing Terrell office
• Intermediate knowledge of Auto CADD and Revit
• Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
• Advanced understanding of Basic Structural Systems and Design Processes
• High level of collaboration and communication
• Ability to effectively manage time and multiple project deliverables
• Soft skills to help you collaborate, lead, create, and grow in your role and career

As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will*

• Be highly proficient with wood design, engineering, and structural detailing
• Have experience with SIPS, steel, masonry, heavy timber, andmass timber/CLT
• Oversee/Manage all Structural Engineering aspects of projects
• Work independently and oversee other team members to develop Construction Documents (plans and specifications)
• Perform structural engineering analysis and development of design calculations
• Prepare engineering studies and reports
• Prepare construction cost estimates and compare with industry benchmarks
• Manage structural specific project requirements (scope, budget, and time)
• Develop structural related fee proposals and contracts
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Mentor and direct junior engineers and BIM staff

*The majority of the time a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach. On occasion, individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys.

Your pay

The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.

• Expected Range*: $93,000 to $115,000
• The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus

*The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on a variety of factors including but not limited to; years of experience, licensure status, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
