Job Description:

Our client, a leading specialized construction company located in Laurel, MD, is looking for a Service Coordinator to join their team. This organization is dedicated to delivering excellence in construction solutions and is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate. This role requires a proactive and resourceful individual capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic construction environment.



Location: Laurel, MD



Schedule: Monday-Friday



Pay: $40k-$50k/annually based on experience



Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely service delivery.
* Communicate with clients to confirm service details, provide updates, and address any inquiries or concerns.
* Maintain service records, including work orders, service reports, and customer communications.
* Dispatch service technicians to job sites and provide them with necessary job details and instructions.
* Monitor and track service progress, ensuring timely completion and high-quality service standards..
* Assist with ordering and managing inventory of materials and supplies needed for service projects.
* Handle customer complaints and service issues, escalating to management when necessary.
* Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the service department.



Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Service Coordinator, Scheduler, or similar role in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with service scheduling software and CRM systems is a plus.
