Role Summary

Sales Enablement helps accelerate sales productivity and capability to drive new Individual Investor business and deepen client relationships. We increase scale through a) effective learning, certification, risk and knowledge management practices, and b) insights and technology solutions with key partners to enable T. Rowe Price to "show up as one" with clients.

The Sales Enablement team seeks an experienced learning and development expert and strategist to help take our organization’s consultative selling practices to the next level. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated experience in developing end-to-end coaching and upskilling programs at scale and across a large salesforce, including skill development in selling and positioning, strengthening product knowledge, and strong leadership training. The ability to influence, lead change, and drive projects with cross-functional teams to completion will be critical.

Responsibilities:


  • Defines, develops, and implements a leading seller skills program.

  • Determines where measurement gaps exist and implements measurement plans and designates ownership to fill those gaps.

  • Navigates across the business to effectively complete tasks.

  • Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators, and reporting requirements.

  • Responsible for analyzing and defining business process related issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing solutions.

  • Leads special projects/initiatives for the function or business unit.

  • Directs and assists team to elicit, challenge, and prioritize root-cause issues, translate into solutions, and establish control to ensure continued measurement of business value and identification of further improvement opportunities.

  • Manages the project scope, objectives, constraints, assumptions, and progress toward completion for a large, strategic program. Exercises sound judgment balancing project risks and making prompt decisions to mitigate the risk in ambiguous or difficult situations.

  • Serves as a resource to build continuous improvement capabilities across the business by coaching/mentoring/training more junior staff, associates pursuing certification, and as part of assigned projects.

  • Gathers and analyzes information to develop recommendations and implement process-related solutions to address strategic business objectives often spanning multiple global business and technology areas.

  • Participates in industry forums and keeps current on domain knowledge for their specific business and application areas of expertise.

  • Collaborates with and supports leaders and their teams to ensure process improvements are adopted, measured, and monitored in support of business operating results.

  • Monitors market changes and stakeholder needs and recommends adjustments to optimize costs, benefits, and speed of delivery.

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

  • FINRA 7/66 (63/65)

  • Asset management experience

Preferred:


  • CRPC or CFP Designation

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

  • Working knowledge of Project Management and Change Management

  • Agile Certification

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Base salary ranges:

$132,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: California, New York
$116,000.00 - $198,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C
$105,500.00 - $180,000.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and All other US locations

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
