Role: Insurance Client Service Representative (Insurance CSR)The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative, customer service and sales support to our Credit Union Membership, Select Employer Groups and the General Public.
The Insurance CSR will be familiar with all EIS (Empower FCU) insurance lines and will be primarily responsible for the Property & Casualty product area.
N | 40% | Provide quality customer service to all clients and prospects with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and consistency. Perform administrative tasks, such as properly completing transactions and maintaining records. |
N | 25% | Assist Insurance Agents in writing new business and identify opportunities for additional sales. |
N | 20% | Build relationships with each client to facilitate the retention of our inforce business. |
N | 10% | Maintain and improve working environment by utilizing team and communication skills. Support Empower Federal Credit Union's culture by participating in training, marketing and Credit Union committee activities. |
N | 5% | All other duties assigned. |

Experience | One year to three years of similar or related experience. |
Education | (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program. Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license must be obtained within 90 days following hire date or effective date of moving into the position. Required licensing must be maintained. |

Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. |
