Description: One of our top clients in the Boston, MA area is seeking a Nurse Educator & Infection Control RN to oversee the nursing and clinical support staff's educational activities and overall training.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, and directs effectively to ensure the provision of excellent patient care to the population served.


• Review policies and procedures to assist in identifying health center educational needs


• Collaborates with the Directors, Managers and Supervisors of departments to provide education and training for changes in policies and/or introduction of new procedures or processes.


• Develops and implements preceptor and orientation programs for new hires.


• Annually reviews competencies in collaboration with Clinical Directors


• Responsible for the design, administration, and evaluation of professional nurses' and medical assistants' education and training.


• Attend and report on Infection Control findings/update at the Compliance meetings.


• Functions as a liaison with local, state, and federal health agencies


• Participates in professional activities related to infection prevention and control.


• Facilitation of routine mock codes for each clinic.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing; Master's preferred.


• A valid RN license in the state of MA.


• Extensive experience in ambulatory care nursing.


• Extensive experience with Infection Control procedures.


• At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Educator.
