Production Supervisor


Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations to ensure adherence to performance, quality, and delivery benchmarks, as outlined in key performance indicators (KPIs) and department goals.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of departmental processes and machinery.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and positive work relationships among team members.
• Engage in the training and development of both temporary and permanent staff members.
• Compile and expedite Incident Reports, coordinating with HR, EH&S, and the Foundry Manager for necessary follow-up actions.
• Conduct employee assessments and manage the performance review process.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure strict adherence to the safety protocols, providing the appropriate tools as per safety standards.
• Drive and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department.
• Support inventory management through participation in inventories and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with the Operations Support Specialist to ensure Shop Orders are updated to mirror current production specifications.
• Achieve production targets as detailed in job orders and ISO documentation.
• Partner with the engineering team to address significant technical or quality challenges on the production floor.
• Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
• Oversee the maintenance of workspaces, tools, and equipment by employees.
• Safely operate machinery and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Perform additional duties as required, which may include department-specific manual labor.

Education and Skill Requirement

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in Industrial Manufacturing


• Detail oriented, highly organized and excels at multitasking and can implement and maintain processes


• Self-motivated, team player, strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, problem solving


• Excellent verbal and written communication within department and across departments
