Job Title: Software Engineering Consultant (Contingent)


Location: Charlotte, NC


Job Description: As a Software Engineering Consultant, you will:

• Participate in and consult on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.


• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.


• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.


• Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.


• Leverage a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


• Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience with SQL Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, Data Warehousing, and ETL processes.


• Experience working with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements and translate them into a data warehouse model for reporting and analytics.


• Hands-on experience with ETL, SSIS, SQL Server, SQL, Performance tuning, Data Warehousing, SSRS, and Power BI.


• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoSys, a multi-platform automated job management system (creating jobs, running jobs, analyzing jobs, etc.).


• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment with team members and partners in various time zones and locations.


• Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management.


• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
