Job Description:
Location: Port Jefferson, NY
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant on a contract basis (thru the end of the year) at their clinic in Port Jefferson, NY
This job will have the following responsibilities:

- Rooming patients, document medical history and chief complaint in Epic (EMR)
- clean rooms, run autoclave (high-level disinfecting)
- process specimen (logging in EMR and packaging the lab specimen for pick up)
- call patients back

- 1 year prior MA experience (dermatology preferred but not required). If candidate is a certified MA, no prior experience required
- Epic EMR preferred but not required
- Ability to travel between 2 office locations (Port Jefferson Station and Syosset)
Shift start & end times: Monday (Port Jefferson Station) 9-7, Tuesday (Syosset) 9-7, Wednesday (Syosset) 9-6, Friday (Syosset) 8-2
Work days per week: 4 (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri)
