Job Description:

Position Responsibilities:

  • First interface point for inbound phone and web leads. Screens leads, provides initial technical data, and determines appropriate prioritization. Enter qualified leads into sales pipeline. Enter key customer interactions into CRM.
  • Convince technical and commercial staff at target customers to initiate testing with electronic materials (photoresist, electron beam resist, thermal interface materials etc.).
  • Convert sales opportunities in sales pipeline to routine commercial sales with focus on the following market segments: IC, semiconductor, Thermal management.
  • Identify target customers, find the point of entry, and introduce electronic materials.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site to direct customers and end-users with focus on IC, semiconductor, Thermal management.
  • Serves as single point of contact for current and prospective customers on commercial and technical items.
  • Communicate market and customer-specific information to global colleagues including regular reporting to Headquarters in Tokyo, in structured, actionable fashion with clear, actionable identification of opportunities, schedule, and next steps.

"Must" Qualifications

  • Demonstrates comfort and skill in conversing in chemical/polymer terminology and being able to explain how chemical properties relate to product/application performance.
  • Experience working with electronic materials / chemicals for IC, semiconductor, Thermal management industries.
  • Working technical knowledge of electronic materials / chemicals for IC, semiconductor, Thermal management industries.
  • Experienced in meeting with prospective customers on solo basis.
  • Experienced in preparing and presenting technical presentations at customers where the audience is technical,
  • Self-starter personality with hunger to learn the business, the customers, and to develop business.
  • Quick learner

"Nice-to-Have" Qualifications

  • + 3 years of Experience in Market Development, Technical Sales or Technical Service working for materials for IC, semiconductor, Thermal management.
  • Experience working from satellite / remote office.
  • Bilingual in Japanese
