Our practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility at 10 Members Way, Suite 500 in Dover, NH 03820. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to adult patients.


We are constantly aiming to improve access for patients and to meet the evolving health care needs of the communities we serve. Primary care is all about relationship-building! The Opportunity



We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant! The operating hours of the department are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, we can be flexible with schedules according to a candidate's availability and preference!


As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team.


Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office


• Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, point of care testing, procedures, and treatments as directed)


• Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management (phone calls, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)


• Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas


• Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.

We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.

  High School Diploma or equivalent required
  


• 
  Currently working as Medical Assistant with minimum of one year of experience,
  or
  Successful completion of Medical Assistant School/Program
  or
  have completed comparable training within discipline of EMT
  or
  equivalent military training.
  


• 
  Six months experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  


• 
  Must obtain a national Medical Assistant certification within 1 year of employment.
  


• 
  AHA or ARC BLS within 90 days of hire.
