The Virginia Capital Markets Support role will assist in the development and successful execution of retail, industrial and office Capital Markets business line. Acting as team quarterback, this role performs a variety of specialized and custom tasks to provide administrative support for a team of sales professionals. Maintain confidentiality of Sales, Marketing, Client, and proprietary information and data in all communications. Position requires in-depth knowledge of Sales and Marketing administrative and operational policy and procedure and general business practices and procedures.

This position requires in-office attendance and based in Newmark's Richmond, Virginia office


Responsibilities



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct studies of work problems, procedures, and processes to ensure a high level of operational effectiveness within Capital Markets and in cooperation with other Newmark business lines.
  • Work on assignments that may be complex in nature where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • Maintain Newmark brand, product, office, and client messaging and consistency by applying templates to produce marketing materials to include flyers, proposals, tour books, touch pieces, maps, floor plans, qualification packages, and market surveys.
  • Review marketing material specifications, and act as point of contact and liaison with centralized marketing, analysis, and research groups to coordinate the completion and submission of financial, marketing, and various client specific property data to incorporate into customized property information packages.
  • Track action items and deliverables and proactively address them.
  • Prepare comprehensive and complex proposals, reports, charts, tables, and other documents.
  • Interface with enabling department personnel including Information Technology, Research, Marketing, Human Recourses and Finance.
  • Conduct research and generate detailed data and information for inclusion in reports, information packages, and presentation materials.
  • Perform related work as required to ensure projects are completed as proposed to internal management and external clients.
  • Organize and follow up on client meetings - inclusive of any internal Capital Markets or cross-business-line staff.
  • Must understand and review commercial real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, contracts, etc.)
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education and Experienced.
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required, & 2 years work related experience. Associate degree or bachelor's degree in marketing and graphic design a preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
  • Previous experience in a commercial real estate environment preferred
  • Real Estate License required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organized with a supreme attention to detail
  • Comfortable interfacing with clientele and executives
