Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Performance Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Provide insight on application Performance defects and Performance Test Sign-offs for release


• Actively participate in ongoing production calls to analyze and triage infrastructure or application related issues


• Work with our global team and provide feedback on performance

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer


• Extensive hands-on experience with performance engineering, including use of JMeter, Gatling or similar tools


• In-Depth knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, EKS


• Experience working with Datadog for monitoring, troubleshooting, creating dashboards and alerts


• Experience with Continuous Testing and integrating into a CICD pipeline


• Comfortable with tools like SQL developer and running SQL queries for data analysis and monitoring


• Experience working in Agile Environment


• Self-motivated and collaborative in your approach


• Superb communication skills to work with various teams across US and India


• Able to clearly communicate test results, findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts


• Java development background


• Experience with automating performance testing through CICD pipeline is preferred


• Kafka understanding


• Unix and Shell Scripting Basics experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
