POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Redmond-based client is looking for Software Test Engineer for a remote based position.

Candidate must go onsite once every 3 months at Redmond, WA. Must be US citizen.



Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Testing software, writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports.
  • Aanalyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.


Qualifications

  • Must have 8-10 years’ experience in relevant filed
  • Must have 2+ years of Experience with Fiddler, Wireshark and network monitoring tools.
  • Must have 2+ years’ Experience reviewing security context of windows software.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience with Python, PowerShell, Git, Sysinternals.
  • Must have experience testing software
  • Must have experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts, and test results reports
  • Should have ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.
  • Should have associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • Should have experience reviewing security context of windows software.
  • Should have Knowledge of windows security architecture.
  • Should have experience with packet capture software
  • Should have experience with sysinternals tools.
  • Should have DNS knowledge
  • Should have Networking experience
  • Should have experiencewith windows registry
  • Should have experiencewith sandbox security technologies and hyper-v
  • Should have experience with Fiddler, wireshark and network monitoring tools.
  • Should have experience with pcap and ncap tooling.
  • Should have ability analyze packet captures and their implications in a secure network.
  • Should have abilityto write and update scripts.
  • Should have familiarity with Git and development tooling.

  • A competitive pay range of $65/hr- $68/hr (depending on experience).
