Job Description:

Position Summary:


A highly reputable global manufacturing company is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of General Ledger accounting duties and work closely with the Finance team.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.


• Perform all quarterly General Ledger activities.


• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly.


• Ensure compliance with the GAAP while managing processes.


• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary entries and schedules.


• Maintain proper internal controls.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in the implementation of new accounting procedures.


• Provide all necessary support across companies in relation to the General Ledger.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field


• 5+ years of experience


• Knowledge of the GAAP is a plus


• Proficient knowledge of the GL is a plus
