Software Engineer




Marietta, GA




Contract Position




$105.00-$110.00/Hour



Support special operations forces by contributing to logistics and ground support systems that ensure the readiness and effectiveness of elite units. This role provides the chance to support high-priority missions, offering insights into the logistics and sustainment of critical defense operations.




Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute software development activities across the full lifecycle.


• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions for mission-critical business problems.


• Ensure compliance with software standards, processes, and procedures during development.


• Utilize expertise in computer hardware, software, and data processing techniques to create and optimize business/mission applications.


• Analyze and resolve program issues, correct errors, and compile program documentation.

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's Degree combined with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree.
  


• 
  Hands-on experience with TIBCO virtualization tools and Cloud Pak for Data (Watson Query Tool with API handling).


• Strong background in SAP HANA, including data modeling and SQL capabilities.


• Experience with both structured and unstructured data in relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).


• Proven SAP Functional ERP experience and SAP HANA Data Services expertise.


• Familiarity with model-based enterprise and digital twin solutions.


• 
  Process automation experience and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Git.


• Experience with Python, Java, Azure is a plus.
