Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, the Career Coach plays an integral role in delivering equitable career development education to Hofstra students. The incumbent demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and effectively integrates them into all aspects of the role. The Career Coach role focuses on preparing students for their careers through 1:1 coaching and advising; providing workshops, presentations, and educational programs; and creating career readiness resources for various populations. The Career Coach serves as a liaison to the faculty/dean's office within an assigned college at the University. The Career Coach is expected to uphold the values of The Division of Student Enrollment, Engagement, and Success (SEES), and work collaboratively to execute its mission to promote student learning, growth, and success, in and out of the classroom, while demonstrating value add to student recruitment and retention efforts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Career Readiness (70%)
