The OBGYN Education Program Coordinator supports the operations of the residency program and medical student programs within the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Operates under the advisement of the OBGYN Residency Program Manager and OBGYN Medical Student Manager in order to align with Graduate Medical Education guidelines; Assists the Program Managers with budgetary items in order to remain fiscally responsible; Executes programs and activities as directed by the Program Managers and fellowship and residency directors; Provides support with developing and implementing educational goals and course requirements; Interprets and enforces program policies and procedures; Annually reviews and evaluates program curriculum in collaboration with Program Directors and provides suggestions for improvement as needed; Assists in ensuring compliance to national medical education and training requirements and regulations; Tracks performance and faculty teaching evaluation activities; Supports with special events including resident graduation, yearly resident retreat, interviews, education and training didactics, lectures, and conferences; Assists with development of handouts and other supporting documentation needed for the residency and medical students; Monitoring databases and program websites for accuracy; Supports the Program Managers to achieve organizational metrics and compliance for both the residency program and the medical student programs.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with MedHub, ResidencyCAS, Vitals and Workday desired. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Technical ability to work on multiple projects. Medical Education experience preferred.
