The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks a student assistant to join the patient care team in the Central Sterilization unit to support various dental clinics. The student assistant position contributes to and is an important function in the health care delivery system
The Central Sterilization student assistant position is needed to assist with transporting sterilized instruments to multiple clinics in the College and transporting instruments requiring sterilization back to Central Sterilization. The student assistant also assists with pouching patient clinical eyewear, stocking inventory and keeping the area clean; heat seals disposable clinical supplies.
Schedule
As needed by the unit/college-Monday-Friday 20-25 Hours
Position Requirements
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds on a regular basis is required.
