Job Description:


Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $21.25 - Midpoint: $26.59 (Hourly N6)



Department/Organization: 504241 - Building Maintenance



Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm



Job Summary: The Carpenter II performs skilled work at the journeyman level in the fabrication and repair of wooden structures, partitions, fixtures of wood, wallboard, and plywood. Installs and replaces doors, windows, and hardware. Must drive from site to site. Provides guidance and trains entry-level Carpenters.



Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of carpentry experience. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.



Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
