The Admissions Systems Administrator will help coordinate the implementation and execution of the Slate CRM platform across the OSU A&M system. This position will serve as a member of the Undergraduate Admissions Data Management team and report to the Director of University CRM Systems.
The Admissions Systems Administrator utilizes skills in project management to assist with the overall implementation and administration of the Admissions Slate CRM across the OSU A&M system, with primary responsibilities to support the OSU-OKC and OSU-IT campuses. This position provides software development and support in a multi-platform environment to enhance the enrollment management operations across units on each campus. The Admissions Systems Administrator assists with the daily operations of the Slate CRM including system maintenance, query development, process automation, data integrity, system security, integration with other campus systems, staff training, and the development of new Slate features. This individual collaborates with communications staff to ensure accurate and appropriate sequencing of print, email, and text communication to prospective students at each of the various campuses. This position also works to initiate, build, and maintain relationships with stakeholders on each campus who utilize the Slate CRM.
The individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Additionally, this individual must be adept at working with individuals at various roles and leadership levels, collecting feedback and improving communications based on information received. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to serve prospective students and their families as well as various other stakeholders across the OSU A&M system.


Travel to other OSU A&M schools, off campus travel (in-state and out-of-state), overnight stays, evening activities and some weekends, may be required in order to meet the needs of Enrollment Management goals.

Required Qualifications:


HS/GED and four years of system administration experience or two years of post-secondary education and two years of related experience. Successful completion of a bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. Successful completion of a bachelor's degree is required within six years of hire.
OR bachelor's degree required with no experience. 


Experience utilizing software applications to support the planning, development, and coordination of university efforts to support and retain students.


Working knowledge of data management concepts including relational databases, data security, data governance and system maintenance.


Project management experience required.


Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to represent the office on data driven issues with campus partners.


Ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time; assist with the planning, installation and operation, and effective utilization of all information systems related to data analysis and reporting.


Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, adaptable and proactive in problem identification and resolution, critical thinking and acceptance of improved technology and data collection, measurement and presentation in a fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications: 


Master's degree


Four years experience with data analysis, database management, software systems, communication platforms, project management, and reports; Demonstrated experience supervising full-time staff in a dynamic environment.


Demonstrated organizational skills, creativity, logic, and strategic thinking in a dynamic environment.


Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new technologies and/or services in a high-impact environment including robust training to end-users.


Previous experience in higher education or related field with organizational processes preferred.


Previous experience with project management systems and constituent relation management (CRM) systems and other university software including Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner.


Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as HTML, XML, SQL, VBA, JavaScript, etc.


Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, Stata, etc.) and/or data visualization software (Tableau, SAS Viya, etc.).
