This is a project based, temporary position projected to last no later than June 30, 2026 unless approved for extension or modification.


Basic Function:

The ERP Education and Training Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful transition to the Workday ERP, ensuring a frictionless experience for end users. This individual leads campuswide documentation and cross-divisional education programs for more than 3,300 faculty, student and staff users. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs, adapting materials to suit the specific needs of end-users, and creating clear, concise documentation to support ongoing system utilization. The ideal candidate will have project oversight experience, strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of teaching and learning pedagogy, and demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs.


Essential Job Functions:


Training Development:


  • Lead the assessment of campuswide Workday training needs in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in HR, Finance and ITS.

  • Develop engaging, user-friendly training materials, including presentations, tutorials, exercises, and quick reference guides.

  • Develop, collect, and analyze KPIs to ensure effective learning outcomes. Take responsibility for successful delivery of all KPIs.





Training Delivery:

  • Create and execute an end-user training plan, schedule sessions, and coordinate logistics.

  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for 3,300 campuswide end-users, both in-person and virtually, using evidence-based instructional methods.

  • Monitor participant progress and provide individualized support.

  • Develop train-the-trainer programs, educate and oversee a corps of departmental leads who will ensure ongoing adoption and support across campus.




Documentation:


  • Localize training documentation and customize content to align with the specific workflows and processes within our organization.

  • Create and maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date system documentation, including user manuals, how-to guides, and troubleshooting resources.

  • Ensure documentation is easily accessible and searchable.






Change Management Support:


  • Collaborate with the Change Management Lead to identify and address potential barriers to adoption.

  • Collect feedback from end-users to assess training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
3 years experience with complex organizational projects, Teaching or Training Delivery Experience


Preferred Qualifications:

5 years higher education experience, Change Management Experience, Residential Liberal Arts Experience; Workday training and/or platform experience


Physical Demands:

Basic office environment
